Fit to Canvas quickie

Hi, I’ve seen a couple of topics on this, but I still don’t really know that fastest way to manually (by pulling the handles) enlarge an image, and then have the canvas fit it as Fireworks ‘fit to canvas’ works.

what is the quickest way without dealing with the pixels?

Also, while you’re here Once I arrange the desktop is there a way to save it, as I always use the same pallets.

I’m not 100% sure this is what you’re after- but you can Shift-Command-T to start resizing your layer, and then use the Image ▸ Expand Canvas to Fit Layers (or the Trim to Edges) menu item to resize your canvas automatically. If that’s not what you’re after, let us know.

There’s no way to save the workspace, but we’ll consider that a feature request.
