Feature request: Expand Canvas

I miss the ability to expand the canvas, e.g. to «crop» a smaller image to a size of 3000x2000 pixels and fill the background with black («Matte», I know).

Otherwise the software is great, many thanks. I’m looking forward to upgrade my normal license to «Pro».

I too would be interested in this feature. I often want to take a set of images and make them all the same aspect ratio by adding whitespace borders where appropriate, rather than cropping the images.
